We have all satin nickel accessories in our bathroom and these are perfect. They are easy and logical to install and best of all, the soap dish is removeable for cleaning. Plain, simple lines make it a nice addition to our master bathroom.
We purchased a replacement for the first soap dish that broke (see my review of July 2010). The second one lasted 11 months. Within a month an edge chipped which caused a hairline crack. The crack turned into a totally broken soap dish during routine cleaning (FYI - by a different person who broke the first one).
I give up. I don't want to keep replacing the soap dish every year and we can't install a different soap dish b/c we already have holes in the shower wall. We purchased a third soap dish which we will install when we try to sell the house in the future. In the meantime, we will just use a squeeze bottle of liquid soap.
I bought this piece because a towel bar set bought at the local home store did not come with a soap dish. And this bright silver is a perfect match. It is a clear finish highly polished. It is very good quality and easy to install. I redid my bathroom in a retro old fashioned country charm. The bisque porcelain dish replicates old time style. Word of warning...be sure to know where you want to hang it before you put your vanity top on because the screw to connect it to the wall is at the bottom. We struggled with clearance between the vanity top and turning the screw. Also the screw is very very tiny easy to lose if dropped on a bathroom rug! Feel confident with your purchase of this soap dish.
