Andrew Richard Designs strives to provide unparalleled design, comfort and durability in outdoor living. Whether it is a remote island getaway in the South Pacific or a NY city terrace overlooking Central Park, it is our goal to develop the perfect piece of furniture to take it all in and relax. We design, build, and create the very look and feel to meet the requirements of our customers. The world is our canvas and with limitless boundaries for design, we do our best to furnish the magnificent landscapes we have been given. You only live once, live outdoors. Cecil Bockner founded Cana-Foam Products Ltd. in 1964. A pioneer in the outdoor furniture industry, Mr. Bockner developed new lines of casual furniture, which were widely accepted and distributed through most of the major retail department stores. As the company expanded, Cana-Foam opened a factory in Toronto, Canada, that was entirely dedicated to manufacturing outdoor cushions to complement their existing outdoor products lines. Don Bockner, Cecil’s son, joined the company and further developed the line to incorporate tubular aluminum, wrought iron, teak, and “all weather” woven collections. The company continued to explore new areas of growth and quickly became an excellent source for mass merchants, patio shops, and commercial properties to design and purchase their outdoor products. Andrew Bockner and Richard Bockner joined the company in the mid-nineties and started to design new innovative lines of casual furniture targeting the hospitality sector. Introducing a patented resin wicker called “Solartex”, these contemporary designs were widely accepted in the industry. With so much experience and knowledge from which to draw, it didn’t take long to develop a collection of commercial products that was perfectly suited for resorts and hotels around the world. This division of the company grew rapidly and was eventually incorporated as Andrew Richard Designs. Andrew and Richard now work along side their design team to introduce creative, fashionable, and durable alternatives to outdoor living.
