I spent months looking for an outdoor light that looked like this -- essentially a light box rather than a lantern. It mimics our flat-roofed, glass-walled house. The quality is good; the lamp sturdy. The bulb is surprisingly bright. The glass looks like old bottle-glass, adding texture. We're very happy with this purchase.
