I ordered three of these rocking chairs in different colors. They are all beautiful, and assembly was very simple. They were in use in just minutes. They are also easy to clean.

For years I have wanted to place a rocking chair on our porch. We never sit there, as we have a deck, but I thought it was so inviting to have a chair there. I knew it would have to be weatherproof, as we could not store it over our harsh winters. I also knew that I wanted to use it as a decorative piece in the fall and winter. The plastic rockers looked cheap. I wanted a wood rocker. I ordered a faux wicker rocker and it was such garbage that I sent it back within days. THIS ROCKER IS AMAZING!! I have had several friends and family members comment on it and are incredulous that it is not real wood.
It looks fabulous on my porch with a sunhat hanging on the spindle. It is comfortable and looks like a real wood rocker. If I had more room, I would order another. I am thinking of ordering a few for my deck.
Assembly is a real drawback. The allen wrench supplied is not enough, and the holes don't match up. I put 90% of it together, with difficulty. My husband had to get out the drill and do the rest.

Plan on a good product, rapid delivery, but be patient with assembly. Have a drill and someone to help.

I bought 2 of the presidential rockers in walnut and they are beautiful. I got tired of messing with the wood ones...all the painting all the time.

One tip to putting this furniture together is when putting the pieces together, only partially insert the parts. Insert the screws and tighten each a little at a time and it draws the parts together nice and tight. I keep seeing the issues with needing a drill and that is true if you push the parts in all the way (my sister had that problem). Just push the part enough that you can start the screw.
