DBG products are manufactured in the USA. They are the originator of the modular exterior fireplace. Their designs and quality are unsurpassed in the industry. All their exterior products are made of concrete reinforced with glass fiber, which makes the fireplace structure not only lightweight but also extremely strong and durable in ALL climates.

The firebox is made from refractory cement and will withstand 3,000 degrees (F). All fireplaces are made in sections, so they will fit through any backyard gate. Two people are required to simply stack and bolt the fireplace together on a variety of surfaces. The fireplaces vents out the chimney. Every DBG fireplace is set up for utilizing gas as the fuel source, either propane or natural gas. If wood-burning is the intended fuel, then a spark arrester that meets local codes must be installed. DBG does not supply the spark arrester, nor do they have local code requirements. Small fires do well with a combination of “Duraflame” type logs with small amounts of wood. VERY LARGE, VERY HOT FIRES could damage the structure over time. DBG does not guarantee against any damage to their fireplaces from wood-burning.

The DBG “accessory screens” will help to keep sparks off clothing, will help with drafting issues, and will keep the ashes contained. By using a DBG gas log set, you reduce your carbon footprint by two hundred percent. The Omni Environmental Services Report recently released the newest information on the effects of burning wood versus DBG Real-Fyre Gas Logs. The report showed that burning wood releases 1000 times more particulate matter and two hundred times more carbon monoxide than burning Real-Fyre Gas Logs.
