After trying several different bird feeders I finally bit the bullet and bought this one. It is by far the best. With the shielded feed holes very little seed lands on the ground in spite of squirrel efforts. This item sells locally for $100 so this was a real bargain. It has enough feeds ports to accomodate several birds although so many gather around I have started throwing seed on the ground as well as having the feeder. It works well.
