We updated the entire house and love the result. The two light fixtures are in our second bath and we used matching three light fixtures in the master bath. All of these fixtures are installed with the bulbs facing the ceiling. I didn't like seeing the bulbs and it was too bright. We also installed the matching small chandelier in our breakfast area (it hangs with the bulbs facing the ceiling). It is so modern and I think of it as flying saucers. My interior decorator said "excellent choices".

This light fixture gives off a soft glow. For my bathroom, it really only lights the space just below it and possibly just a little on the peripheral of the fixture. The light fixture itself looks great.
