I really like this lamp. It is quite solid and the finishings are very good. The shade is attractive and the size is perfect. What I like is that it feels like a much more expensive lamp - not light and flimsy - so well worth the price.

Purchased this item on Tuesday, received it FedEx on Friday. Quality as expected - maybe even a little better. Nice construction, nice finish, sturdy, and heavy enough at the base that I won't worry about hurriedly pulling the chain to flip it on or off. Color exactly as pictured, nice felt material on the base to avoid scratching the antique roll top desk for which I purchased the lamp. I looked at some banker's lamps in my local Staples store and while this one was a about twice the price, I'm glad I went with the Kirketon. I'll probably have it for a long time...
