This light is being used in a room with a projection TV. The room must be kept extremely dark for best picture quality. This light allows a person to read or do other tasks without causing "light pollution" on the TV screen. The light is very directed and amazingly bright. The only negative is that the base and pole are not very strong. The lamp is stable enough but might not withstand rough treatment by children.

This lamp does an excellent job of blending into any room. It provides the perfect reading light without producing any heat!

Although I had a very long wait for the lamp, I am pleased with it. I received exactly what I thought I would. If it turns out to be durable, as well, I will have made a very wise purchase.

I ordered the warm white light. When I ordered a second lamp because I like the look and style I could see the difference in the light color and realized they had sent me a cool white.
