illuminated house numbers
Don’t be deceived, this is not a hard to see low voltage plastic light nor is it an impossible to see solar charged LED light. This is a very sturdy fixture with its metal housing, plastic lens and gasket to seal out the elements. Since this light is powered by 110 volt house current, follow the instructions carefully and by all means hire an electrician for help if you are not comfortable and experienced working with these voltages. The only real problem this reviewer encountered was the plastic adhesive numbers were too warm to properly apply. When they were taken off of the backing sheet, they tended to stretch out of shape. Placing them face down on a cool surface caused them to shrink somewhat so that it was easier to apply them to the lens. A grid of measured pencil lines kept the numbers in alignment. A benefit that became apparent the first night is that this fixture serves as a good security light. It adequately illuminated half of the front yard with a soft blue-white glow but did not glare out over the neighborhood the way security flood lights do.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
